yeah, so far all we have is a very tired trailer.
Ill watch it in the theatre anyway i guess.
Why can’t there be a Mr Marvel, amirite?Jorge wrote:Who could have foreseen this

That's a plotline from All-New, All-Different Avengers, Annual #1.BurtReynolds wrote:It will be funny when the first (and male and best) Captain Marvel saves them all.
yeah Kamala is great and I hate (most) MCUJorge wrote:It's because of the girl playing Kamala. She's great, and the only reason I would watch this terrible looking movie

this is one of my favourite conspiracy theories /ironybada wrote:This trailer is a trap. Make something clearly horrible and call anyone that says anything misogynist. Easier to ignore it which is what I suspect the general audience is going to do.
Two groups being wrong at the same time doesn't necessarily mean that the truth is "in the middle" of both of them. That there exist groups of toxic woman-haters ready to downvote anything with a woman in it and that giant corporations like Disney commodify diversity and allyship in pursuit of the bottom line are not opposing ideas. They actually fit very neatly together!Ms Harmless wrote:I'm just here for the "the answer is somewhere in the middle" posts
Disney being disingenuous about their allyship is not equal to incels being ingenuous about their hate.Jorge wrote:Two groups being wrong at the same time doesn't necessarily mean that the truth is "in the middle" of both of them. Equal how? I don't know how to measure that. I think they're both pretty bad. I think a corporation manipulating fans into defending their product by weaponizing the language of social justice is pretty repugnant. And the woman-hating dweebs are bad for obvious reasons. But what I was saying is they probably cancel each other out in terms of their effect on the box office, which is what I'm most interested in.B wrote:Disney being disingenuous about their allyship is not equal to incels being ingenuous about their hate.Jorge wrote:Two groups being wrong at the same time doesn't necessarily mean that the truth is "in the middle" of both of them.
