PS6 is Fall 2027 at the earliest. They're probably shooting for a GTA V/late PS3 era sort of thing. Release it to the biggest install base possible and then make a souped up 4k/60fps-120 fps version for the new consoles in 2027/2028.

Called it. Well, close enough. Never fails with Rockstar.

Per Best Buy affiliate program email, pre-order window may open next week. I guess we'll learn the price. I'm guessing $79.99. Final answer.

I'm wondering if the online will be free to play or if they will charge a small fee for it initially. I could see a $70 base game with no online and an $80-90 "deluxe version" with online access and GTA cash.

based on reports that the budget was between $1 and $1.5 billion, i would wager that any deluxe version would be north of $100.

does anybody know if it will be another violent game or not? it'd be better if they cut out the violence for once

I don’t think Rockstar has ever done early access before, but if they want to make a quick quarter billion or so, charging an extra $30 for 3 days would probably do the trick.

Not sure if Rockstar has, but 2k does it for every one of their sports games.

Are most buildings going to have interiors you can freely enter this time? I spent so much time in IV going into that one hospital you could actually enter, shooting everyone, and then holding out as long as I could against the cops. Hoping for way more locations like that.

That's the rumor.

For a while this was scheduled to come out next Tuesday. In an alternate universe we’re all faking coughs today to soft launch taking a sick day after the long weekend.
