i think the problem is most places that serve them don't get them crisp enough, and they easily fall apart.

If “the crinkle cut French fries are real good” is one of the most notable things about a city, do not go to that city

Guys, at least recommend a city that is less than 3 hours away. Omaha is a very nice medium sized city with plenty of things to do.
