I saw Yachtley Crew last night. If you like this genre and they’re in your area, I can’t recommend going enough. Bulletproof setlist, great musicians, and fun show. They’re crushing “I keep forgetting,” and segue directly into “Regulators.” They’re playing “Hold the Line” and suddenly they’re in a line doing simple choreography for 20 seconds. Just a perfect way to spend a summer night.

What Dan did they do?
Reeling in the Years. I saw Yacht Rock Revue open for REO Speedwagon a couple years ago and I think they played Peg. They’re playing our state fair grandstand in September. Another group called AM Gold is playing our MLS stadium in August. Both those shows are at least $50 to get into.
