our neighbors in nyc have had a place there since the early 70s...we went out with them every summer for about 12 years or so..he passed away a few years ago at the age of 96..he was an old jazz musician and arranger..she's still alive with the property and we're supposed to go out this summer if we can..its a fun place but a weird little enclave..

its full of disease ridden deer that stand at your door wanting food..the gays and lesbians have their own beaches because the cant stand each other..part of the island doesn't allow jews and most of the bars and restaurants suck..otherwise its a good time

What Are You Eating Right Now

Made some chicken, onion, green/red pepper kebabs on the grill

turned out ok

usually too dry but juicy enough this time

craving ice cream

going to slice up a hunk of sushi grade tuna from the local fish guy..just a little soy, some rice and probably a cold can of Hamms..
cherry amaretto ice cream for dessert

sounds delicious

i polished off a bowl of costco super premium vanilla ice cream

the saturated fat will clog my arteries

but the joy will last a lifetime (short, due to the artery clog)

We did this a few weeks ago and the Tuna was absolutely amazing.

Now I want to eat Tuna.
