great interview, it probably helps having the two most personable members of the band do it. i wish they went into the later albums more, but i thought it was cool Beato brought up 'Given to Fly'. What a riff and song.
i loved how the given to fly riff sounded exactly like the album with the same effect.

Stone should’ve been there too since they talked about all the early stuff so much.

And it should’ve been longer. Shit, O’Brien was a 3-hour episode.

yeah , he plays a lot of keyboards in his solo albums and the soundtrack he did with Josh K for that Andrew Garfield series.

Pinfield and Wallace interviews were great. Beato's comment about how Wallace doesn't look like a rock producer was kind of stupid though. I don't get it, is it his age or him being bald that makes him not look like one? Well he did most of his best stuff 30-40 years ago, so it's understandable that he's old (and bald).

However it was interesting to hear about Wallace's relationship with Jeff Buckley and it kind of seemed that it was still hard for him to hear his music when Beato played Vancouver.

Trying to not be sad about it. Mostly failing. This song is a masterpiece and I love this series. It's a shame that Beato moved away from this sort of thing.

RIP Brent Hinds. :heartbeat:

I agree as I did enjoy many of those, well still do... though it does look like the genius of AI being used by Universal Music Group is making his life difficult as of late.
