The Wintersleep from Halifax? Very cool. You are in UK correct? Ive seen them many a time here in Halifax and always a joy.harmless wrote:I would like to see a full Wintersleep show. I've seen them three times but they were all short sets.
Lanegan and NIN are must shows. The Pumpkins are pretty good, even with their line up changes.Soma. wrote:Silversun Pickups

Baroness
White Denim
Smashing Pumpkins, with time capsule.
Yup, my wife and I have seen them here in the UK whenever they've been here. We're big fans.sward wrote:The Wintersleep from Halifax? Very cool. You are in UK correct? I didn't know you were a Carla Bozulich fan, VinylGuy. I'm more into Evangelista than her earlier projects, but I've been digging on the collaboration album she did with Ches Smith several years back that was released last year. I'm also really looking forward to the new solo album she's got coming out early next year.VinylGuy wrote:Woah, Carla Bozulich?? That said, I feel a need to see these acts someday:
Do Make Say Think
Animal Collective
Sandro Perri
Eric Chenaux
Mogwai
Grails
Carla Bozulich/Evangelista
65daysofstatic
Tindersticks
I'd like to see Pearl Jam, Sigur Ros, and Arcade Fire at some point, but I don't think I could ever convince myself to attend an arena show, or pay arena prices. I also get bummed out about the fact that I'll never get to see Oceansize or Vic Chesnutt.
Yeah, i discover he when she did some backups for Mike Watt. There was a time were every song i liked had her in some way or another.Brett wrote:I didn't know you were a Carla Bozulich fan, VinylGuy. I heard RHCP isn't the same without Frusciante, so I'll take what I can get.Soma. wrote:System and the Chilis are trash live, so don't bum out if you can't manage to catch them.
