But if it’s Daughter, then we don’t get Fixer for BS. In which case we’re looking to Johnny Guitar, which I can live with.
I could see JG as the only BS song and from Vitalogy we still have Corduroy, Immortality and even, lets say, Better Man as mustwease wrote:Goddammit.Chris_H_2 wrote:agreed. the problem is that it's going to up against tremor christ or cropduster.wease wrote:Johnny Guitar fucking rulestragabigzanda wrote:Either this or Daughter…Leatherhead wrote:Animal should be the Vs song.

That isn’t how this works. This is only one song from each album. Once a song is voted on, the rest of the songs on that album are disqualifiedVinylGuy wrote:I could see JG as the only BS song and from Vitalogy we still have Corduroy, Immortality and even, lets say, Better Man as mustwease wrote:Goddammit.Chris_H_2 wrote:agreed. the problem is that it's going to up against tremor christ or cropduster.wease wrote:Johnny Guitar fucking rulestragabigzanda wrote:Either this or Daughter…Leatherhead wrote:Animal should be the Vs song.

You must be joking. Go is a great song, Can't Keep isn't. There are lots of top songs on Riot Act, that could be great later on in this album. Every great album, needs a great opening track.Ello Sailor wrote:Hey dumbass, if we pick "Go", then the rest of Vs. is off the table!Anders wrote:How can you be a strategist, when you start the album off so weak?
We're not picking best in slot, we're picking in a way that avoids being left with nothing but shitty songs that only Stip enjoys!
So your issue isn't about strategy, it's that you don't like Can't Keep. What an utterly pointless contribution. Go kick rocks, bud.Anders wrote:You must be joking. Can’t Keep is fine, it’s an awful start to the greatest Pearl Jam album, and half of Riot Act is better than it.Ello Sailor wrote:So your issue isn't about strategy, it's that you don't like Can't Keep. I just went back and looked at what we did last time. We did 1-11 and then a final 12th round that put together all tracks numbered 12 and above, even from albums that were already off the table. I think that sounds good.liebzz wrote:Fun concept. I missed the first few pages. I guess Lost Dogs won’t count. Once you get past day track 12 and there’s not much left, does a second song then come from an album? Does this de facto eliminate all tracks 13-15?
Thank you.Jorge wrote:Good math, Anders
