Yeah...that was hypnotic. Agree that it needs to be longer, but that's not exactly a complaint.

I'd say that lyrically this album isn't eddies strongest. He sounds really good though for the most part.can the word sound till you've been down so low

After hearing the whole album, Pendulum was the one that I fired up on repeat. I don't want to try and figure out why that is, but am rather just reporting the facts. Haha

pretty fuckin boner inducing. i didnt think they had this in them anymore to put somethings this good and weird on an album (see: cold confession). this is gonna have me dancing like a hippy when they play this live.

To me it sounds like "Cold Confession" seen through to a degree of polish that was simply beyond what that song aspired to be. This is definitely the direction I was hoping more of the album would follow.stip wrote:people who aren't me have said this sounds like a binaural/riot act song, though.
I really love the guitar lead in this--it has a real gunfight-at-the-OK-Corral vibe to it that sounds haunting set against the rhythm and atmosphere.

Wow. Great song. My only complaint is that it doesn't go on any longer. Hopefully they'll extend it a little bit when they play it live.

This reminds me of the Philip Glass Metamorphosis music that was played when the band walked onstage in 2008.
