I realllly wanted to say something. Afterward a woman in the row below looked back at me with an odd look on her face and I knew exactly why. She seemed like a sweetheart, but said she wanted to say something too.The Argonaut wrote:urgh. You should’ve thrown a mcnug at him.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:I realllly wanted to say something. As tempting as that would be, I could never waste a mcnug. And no I wouldn’t eat it off the ground afterward.spike wrote:You should’ve thrown a mcnug at him.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:I realllly wanted to say something. My wife would have said something for sure. She loves getting me beat up.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:As tempting as that would be, I could never waste a mcnug. Yup, all this. As a huge fan of the book, I was blown away by how perfect an adaptation it was.Ensign9 wrote:Like Mecca, I teared up multiple times throughout and had a ton of fun. It followed the book, a book I absolutely devoured, almost exactly. I think criticism of its length are fair but I didn't care. Give me an extended director's cut with more of the science stuff added in. I loved it all.
I don't know what this means. The execution of book to film is nearly flawless in my opinion, and the stakes of the storyline are pretty much as massive as they get.epilogue wrote:It's a super flawed movie with very little stakes when you really look at it.
