That’s odd cos this is one of my favourites from this end of their career and it suffers from the curse of pj midtempo but it’s elevated by the music and lyrics. Yet it’s got a lot of brothers and sisters in the new one and I can’t warm to them at all.

I haven’t tuned into the lyrics (or themes) on DM but the separation or distance (or break up?) or relationship power dynamic does seem to come up a lot on it.
Ed’s POV seems to hold the overview now on those songs now where it maybe doesn’t on FON

Yeah dude, this is a favorite from that era. This was the song I thought of most listening through Dark Matter for the first time and I’d love to hear it reworked to fit in with the current live sets.
