Well, so this girl rushes the stage and gets yelled at. But this guy rushes the stage and it's fucking awesome? I guess we'll never know what happened but it's frustrating. Didn't Ed yell at someone throwing quarters at him a few years back? Was that a woman too?
Well, we might as well lock this one up. It's been won.Fuzzcharger wrote:I think we've all been kicked out of a Pearl Jam concert for chasing a 12 year old round the pit before. No biggie.
I'm not 'acting like' anything, bro. Relax. I am merely asking questions.gems and rhinestones wrote:Gimme a breakharmless wrote:

Stop acting like he only gets on the girls and lets the men run wild and do what they want. I've seen way more times where he's gotten mad at guys than I have at girls. I'm not gonna look them all up but here is one where he is protecting girls.

This girl was elbowing people? Nobody has said what she actually did, hence my questions. I've seen comments about how 'fucking awesome' Ed was for shouting at her but I've withheld judgement as I have no idea what she did to warrant it. In any case, I still wonder whether he could've told her to fucking stop it, or be sent out of the gig. Did she get a warning? Possibly, I don't know.stip wrote:Did the people this girl was elbowing work for Target?
It sounds like she was pushing people around and Eddie wasn't having it. Maybe on a different day he'd have just told her to mellow out. She doesn't seem too cut up about it anyway. I assume if ed saw the dude who ran on stage had whacked a couple people in the face on the way over he would have told him to fuck off too.You weren't humiliated because you were trying to pass the blame as if it were someone else's fault as to why you were singled out.. there were many of us that were there in that area where you were selfishly trying to bulldoze through the people to get up front where some of us were on the rail...
People weren't having it and then you started to get a little on the violent side pushing and shoving and throwing elbows... You got called out outside when you were trying to cut the line and were told by EVERYONE else that had been there since 4,5,6,7 in the morning that you were not welcomed to just join their group.
And I'll put you on blast.. there was no kid you were trying to help.. the only kids that were in that area were being well taken care of by their parents... and you know what... even the KIDS were upset that you were trying to get in front of them.... because even they had the decency to WAIT ALLLLLL DAY to be in the spots they were in. (maybe you can tell the rest of the people here that you were trying to be all heroic but, you will be called out on it)
You can't expect people to take kindly to you wanting to have the same privileges as them if you didn't put in the time to claim them..... You want to be on the rail.. well then, wake the fuck up at crack ass of dawn... get on line and wait the entire day like the 90% of us people that were on the rail did...
no idea if that response was true or not, but the part about helping the kid sounded like bullshit because after initially mentioning helping a kid she never said anyhting else, if it was me an i was actually been trying to help a kid that was separated from their parent then my whole rant would have been about the kid being left alone after i was kicked out and stuff. but im probably just putting too much thought into some rude assholes storystupidmop wrote:Someone's response to herIt sounds like she was pushing people around and Eddie wasn't having it. Or maybe he just scans the crowd for women to yell at.

I'm inclined to think they're a douchebag because they said that them making ed angry made the show better, so its all good. But yeah, too much thought into a non event, its what we do best!
i havent been but ive heard his solo shows are aggravating because they are pretty quiet and that lets douchebags yell out constantly, i still want to see one of his solo shows, but if i dont i think i will be ok. ive never really had a problem with a PJ crowd that i havent had at pretty much every other show ive been to, people drink too much and get stupid, they yell out at quiet points because they think it would be cool for the band to hear them, they feel like they have to be a close as possible even though the sound is pretty much the same in the whole place and thats the only real important part of a live concert. its not pearl jam fans, its just people in general, a large part of the US population just suck as people.....but thats a whole new topicnumbers wrote:The one thing that sucks about going to PJ is the crowd. 50 pct of them are this disturbing kind of crazy. Not typical concert nuts, just strange, strange people. It was so bad at the EV solo show that I probably wouldn't go to a show in that setting again.
I am intrigued.numbers wrote:. Not typical concert nuts, just strange, strange people.
that is true, i can see more poeple being emotional at a PJ show because i am, they are the only band that i actually sing along with and ill end up with out much of a voice at the end, the rest of the bands i go see i just move around some and clap but they dont get that much of an emotional response.numbers wrote:I dunno, I see behavior at PJ shows that I don't see at others. In Worcester this year I had this bizarre guy sitting in front of me that actually sat down and started shaking during corduroy. He was doing the fake pissed off thing that football players do before a game. WTF is that? It's a pearl jam show, not war.
Here's the guy they need to kick out.Dr. Van Nostrand wrote:that is true, i can see more poeple being emotional at a PJ show because i am, they are the only band that i actually sing along with and ill end up with out much of a voice at the end, the rest of the bands i go see i just move around some and clap but they dont get that much of an emotional response.
