I'd stretch that badboy out right til Parting ways.digster wrote:Insignificance through Sleight of Hand is the best run this band ever had.
I would stretch it from track 4, possibly throughout the whole record, but I went with what felt absolutely unimpeachable. I don't really have any qualms with Soon Forget; I don't like it much, but it's really too quaint to get worked up about (it'd be like thinking Yield's flow is ruined cause you don't like red dot). Thin Air is a wonderful song, though.stupidmop wrote:I'd stretch that badboy out right til Parting ways.digster wrote:Insignificance through Sleight of Hand is the best run this band ever had.
Hell i'd stretch it from NAIS to parting ways. Hence why Binaural is my favourite album. I concede that thin air fucks it up a little, but i still like the song, its just a little unnecessary/weirdly placed and probably too happy for the album.
I've never thought of that before. That's really interesting. I agree it's not worth getting worked up over, but if we're talking about unimpeachable song runs I think everything has to be great.digster wrote:I would stretch it from track 4, possibly throughout the whole record, but I went with what felt absolutely unimpeachable. Young, insecure Stip has matured just enough to be able to appreciate Sirens or Call Me Maybe but this is a whole step beyond.Juvenal wrote:Stip I'm just waiting for you to embrace Gods Dice for the awesome song it is
Well, I think it's also like everything else is so strong (I mean, I think any number of those songs could make a top 10 list) that any problem that song has is lessened. Plus, my only issues with it are really lyrical; the song and melody are fine.stip wrote:I agree it's not worth getting worked up over, but if we're talking about unimpeachable song runs I think everything has to be great.digster wrote:I would stretch it from track 4, possibly throughout the whole record, but I went with what felt absolutely unimpeachable.
