Stevie Wonder

Other than Pearl Jam, who else is there?

I was really enjoying 'Evil' but why does it end there? (By the way the track skips on the intro, not a problem but how easy would it be to get a clean copy of the track, Lament?)

This album is so awesome; 'Seems so Long' and 'Keep on Running' are, for me, slightly weaker, but that really is saying something considering they're still pretty strong songs.

Check your email and see if that one works better for you.

The end definitely does sneak up on you. I always want the end to be more drawn out. Great song though.

Keep on Running is on par with the rest of the album for me, but I agree about Seems So Long. It seems to be a tad behind the rest of the record. I love the first half of the album so much.

One of his strongest records for certain. 'Evil' is brilliant. I'm so used to Pearl Jam dropping the ball at the end of their albums, this is really something.

Yep.

And also chest (if you're into that).

I'm not through the first song yet, but I have a feeling Music Of My Mind is going to be awesome. "Every day I wanna get on my camel, and ride." Holy Hallelujah, Batman!
Yeah, I love that line too

I'm kind of just sad that in all those years of going to church, no worship leader ever sang "Bring it down a little. Love is very peaceful, so bring it down a little." I think maybe I would've had a real chance of staying in the fold.

I'm probably too angry for that.

Put on a flowing robe. You're probably just mad cause your clothes are too restrictive.

Is it possible we can create a viable religion out of harmless in a robe and Stevie Wonder's 70's output?

And don't we owe it to the world to at least try?

It's been all Stevie so far today. Signed, Sealed & Delivered - My Cherie Amour - Innervisions so far.

It almost makes up for everything else about the day sucking.

You sure can. They're not on the level of the ones that followed, but they're still enjoyable listens. Let me upload them.

'Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I'm Yours' is a fucking great song though. Is it a case of that song being a standout?

It's definitely the best song on the album, but there are other good cuts too. It's one of his last records from before he got full creative control, so it's a pretty straight forward pop record. His performances are stellar as expected though. My Cherie Amour is the same way (though he did produce that whole record), but stronger. There will be at least something you love on both records.
