I'm guessing it leaked, some people heard it, Ten Club's hemorrhoids flared up, they had it removed and wondered why nobody can wait...to...hear it. Hmmmmm sounds like someone familiar.

It looks like it's still up and that same FB page has been posting several SG bootlegs and I think an EV bootleg last week too. I'm guessing any threads on the board about it were shut down, but wonder what else they can do. Trying to stop these things seems like such a fruitless effort, like trying to move water with a spatula, not to mention the hypocrisy of asking your fans to NOT listen to your music that wasn't officially released (sold).

Especially given that in the early 90's they did the exact opposite and flooded the market with look-a-like bootlegs and leaks.

and it could be argued that that practice built the obsessive fan base that now travels to multiple shows and buys dog collars and onesies.

I like it...it sound recent. Its way better than Future Days. This could have been on LB.

Maybe. But well timed leaks can keep interest up after big marketing pushes fade. I would not be surprised if this was intentional.



As for the tune itself, it sounds like Skipping-era stuff and I'm not a fan of the unsync'd double vocals. I like the melody though.

This is real? I thought people were just fucking around. Doesn't sound particularly interesting, going by everyones reactions.

Haven't heard it yet but I think i know exactly what it sounds like.

edit: honestly, this is much better than I thought it was going to be. yeah, the overdubbed vocals are a little annoying. but, the music is quite nice.

The continued used of these shitty overdubbed vocals is mind boggling. If it weren't for those, I would enjoy this as background music like Stip mentioned in his write up. I probably will never listen to it again though.

kinda reminded me of 'thumbing my way' at first. pretty decent little demo. i wonder who's on keys, boom or bob?

I really don't mind the overdubbed vocals here, even though it makes it sound like a Bright Eyes song.

Don't like the harmonica, but otherwise its ok. Waaay better than future days yes, but i think its also way older too so it doesn't really matter. I kinda like the doubled vocals.

I like the ovedubbed vocals here. Eddie sounds great. I wonder when this is from.

It might be a case that I don't like his voice dubbed. I do like how off sync they get.

Kind of boring, but not the worst song. There are a few ideas in there that could be fleshed out into better songs.
