That and "Like a Rock" are definitely his cheesiest, most odious songs. But the fact that they've kind of permanently smeared his legacy for most people is a little unfair. Dude was extremely well versed in the R&B/soul idiom, and it shows. The further I've delved into that stuff, the more I've come to appreciate how truly good he was at synthesizing it with that big, Springsteenian heartland rock sound.RussellManiac12 wrote:I like Bob Seger, but "Old Time Rock n' Roll" makes me
At the end of U2's performance at the Oscars what does the orchestra play before cutting to commercial? Bob Seger "Old TIme Rock and Roll" I told you guys to trust me, this post is complete. Bongos and shrooms, who wins best actor? I am the trivial psychic! We did it together folks. hahahaLuNY wrote:At 3:50 "its the stuff the stuff of country songs" Good stuff, the stuff of country songs. I waited on Bono once, nice guy, he then mingled around the dining room of the restaurant I worked in and had a long conversation with a food runner. Humble, cool guy, him and Edge hung out all night drinking, talking, hanging out.
