The demo version of Like Suicide is pretty interesting...clocks in at 9:11.

Upgraded from interesting to pretty damn good....you can see how the acoustic version developed from this.

Awesome, mine should be delivered today. Kind of regretting how much I paid for it, but really hoping those handful of unheard demos make up for it.DeLima wrote:Upgraded from interesting to pretty damn good....you can see how the acoustic version developed from this.

Its a very cool interview.
I was expecting some info in his departure from Susan Silver or Audioslave but its cool.

Waiting for the vinyls, but is the "remastered" version worth the trouble?

Re: Soundgarden | Superunknown
There are some really interesting tracks on this, between the demos and rehearsals. I still feel like these kinds of things are generally too expensive if not outright rip offs, and would rather have seen the B-Side album first, but this has enough cool shit to not make me feel bad for getting it.

Re: Soundgarden | Superunknown
Listening to Cornell's WTF has caused me to dust off this album for the first time in a while.
I really wish more Soundgarden songs sounded like "4th of July".

Re: Soundgarden | Superunknown
Anyone know why SG did this show (again) with Matt Cameron?

I figured Webster Hall would be a warm up show for the euro tour ... instead they did the Superunknown live thing again
which is awesome and I love/prefer Matt Cameron severely
but just a bit taken by surprise that they did this again and Matt Cam played this one... for all of that stepping aside to work with PJ talk... and with a Euro tour 3 days away... wouldn't they want to play with Chamberlain?

No. The idea was to play a show to publicise the re-release of Superunknown. They charged $19.94 per ticket and played the album front to back.96583UP wrote:Anyone know why SG did this show (again) with Matt Cameron?

i see, so they are still in promo mode... right up to the wire. Hopefully they are sneaking in some album writing too.zeb wrote:No. The idea was to play a show to publicise the re-release of Superunknown. Re: Soundgarden | Superunknown
Chris has some "ideas" and the band recently recorded a song (with Jack Endino as producer!) they demoed in the eighties but nothing other than that has been spoken about. I'd be surprised, though, if they didn't come up with the some sketches during the tour with NIN.
