I am going to say it isn't him only because they ambush him at the wedding. I don't really recall any one person being captive aside from Jamie/Brienne. i read somewhere (i think in winteriscoming.net) that Vargo won't be in the series but another new character that does deal with the kingslayer's storyline in the similar matter.
