Miss: Bushleaguer. I have my doubts about all wars (not just the ones Democrats don't like—which in the last 100 years is actually very few). The problem here wasn't Ed going after the administration so much as the ham-fisted way he did it that sounded utterly dated even before W's presidency was over. It's always a danger to be too specific in a political/protest song. The best artists know how to speak more to the underlying issues and ideas so that even when I don't always agree I can still respect the thinking.

Pearl Jam supports democracy. They know that society is best served by the most people voting possible. I agree with that, and see it as a non-partisan stance.

No More is probably the worst, although whatever -- I can't argue with the sentiment. EV was clearly going for a 60s protest song vibe -- I think it's just jarring to hear something like that coming from Pearl Jam.
