I'm sure he's self-absorbed. Most "stars" are. But I don't remember those emails being as bad as everyone was making them out to be. But it's been a long time since I read those. And whatever I read seemed largely out of context.

yeah, i find it hard to judge anyone when i hear or read something personal from them directed towards someone that wasn't ever supposed to be released to the public. sure, there's a fair share of examples that aren't defendable. but in something as ugly as child custody or divorce, it's none of my business to speculate. guaranteed if someone read one out of context email out of the thousands i've sent throughout my life, i could come off looking like a complete asshole.

but that's a completely different debate that probably shouldn't happen in here

As a frequent, premium user of this service, let me say that I am ecstatic to have one of my favorite bands see the potential in this trendsetting company. I, and I'm sure other fans of the band, find a link of solitude with Pearl Jam's vision of the future of cloud technology. I am also very aware of Pearl Jam's propensity for visual art and design while translating this into very eye-catching (and sought after) merchandise made available to its fan club. I am reaching out to you today to offer a proposal for a new design for Pearl Jam's interest in Dropbox. Not only could this item create a unity between Pearl Jam and their fans that are Dropbox users, but I think it may be a way to capitalize (and advertise) their association with Dropbox, while creating higher returns for their investment in the company.
