i enjoyed the finale and the whole season, prob my fav season (2 was top also)
maybe it could be a even better finale if they didnt solved the initial part right away?
i liked that storyline
anyway, most badass show on tv
at least 3 classic lines per episode

Yup. Just over a month until the only cop show on TV worth watching comes back.
07.January.2014. Book it.

Wow, seems like last season just ended. That's good news.

Only a dozen plot points to follow this season, which has already been a difficult task, as I was distracted by a Michael Rappaport sighting.

Good ep, will be interesting to see where this goes. Yeah, I was pretty surprised to see Michael Rappaport too. Kind of distracting, but he's got a good character.
Boyd was ruthless in this episode.

A lot going on, definitely a "first of the season", but I liked it. Will Sasso and Dave Foley being serious was a funny surprise.

Enjoyed Raylan's Jack Reacher speech in the alley. Don't understand why Amy Smart is in the show. Seems to me they could have gotten an unknown sexy woman for the role.

DVR cut out 20 min into the first episode. I always have issues with FX.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of hers. Wish they'd gone the unknown actor route too. Plus, more recognizable actors in this one: Avon Barksdale, and the lawyer from The Practice. A little distracting, but they are very minor characters.

This was my favorite episode of the season so far. Dewey Crowe continues to shine as the tragic clown prince of the show. Webelos shovel.
Rappaport has evolved into his role nicely - I'm no longer distracted by his presence on the show.
And, of course, the Boyd Crowder storyline is really ramping up.

This one was the best of the three so far this season. I like the plot point that there will be blow back for Raylan after the shootout at the airport. I am surprised he took the kid brother away, seems like a bad move strategy wise to execute so quickly. That's more of a mid game pull.

Not really liking this season. Dewey is funny, but all the other Crow story lines are falling off. I thought the prison scenes were laughably bad, especially that little dude. Still plenty of time to pull it together.

They seem to be telegraphing Raylan's boss getting whacked. Hope I'm wrong.

Maybe, but goddamn these guys do a good job of weaving a story together from a series of seemingly unrelated events.

A good episode (could have been great) that was brought down a notch by the cheesy tommy gun fight scene with the dude from Firefly. Raylan and Art going unscathed from that? And, Raylan outflanking the Firefly guy? And, of course, it was tidily cleaned up.
I do agree about the possible foreshadowing of Art being taken out later. Though I do hope they just let the guy retire as he should.

That would be Alan Two-Dicks, not 'that guy from Firefly".
