It looks like JT Barrett will be the guy now. Redshirt freshman out of Texas. He's the kind of athlete that works well in Meyer's system but obviously lacks the experience that Miller has. Based only on what I've read, he's lacking the arm strength that Miller has, but he's more advanced at this stage of his career as far as running an offense than Miller was at this point.

Michigan St. is obviously the favorite at this point since they get the Buckeyes at home. I could easily see Ohio State losing that game. And now the Navy game worries me since it's on the road to open the season against that weird offense.

That whole month was crazy. LSU upsetting Tennessee as well.

First off you will have to forgive me regarding Colorado. Kinda forgot they exist to be honest.

Anyway - I think slightly over .500 - I will go into every gameday thinking we'll win but we lost a lot of offensive studs and have a brand new starter at QB who has to sit the first game because he assaulted a Seahawks fan the night of the Super Bowl (he is from Colorado).

We have lots of NFL players on defense though. And I love defense so in that respect, lots to look forward to.

So I also forgot about Cal. Sue me.

That said, still no gimmes and arguably strongest conference top to bottom, week to week. Toughest grind especially with 9 conference games.

UCLA is looking good this year. The schedule sets up nicely for them. They have Stanford and Oregon at home. Watching Brett Hundley live last year that kid has the it factor. I'm not sure his game translates well to the next level but he's a hell of a college QB.

I wish all conferences had a 9 game conference schedule. Especially if the move to an 8 team playoff is near.
