It's not slanderous (wasn't me who said that), but it's immature. This guy gives up a shit ton of his own time to provide a service that we want and asks nothing in return. It's not a business like the 10c or a we-are-better-fans-than-you site like twofeetthick. It's one guy helping out thousands and it just seems kinda low brow to talk about him in a public forum and say anything other than "thank you". Just my opinion, you are welcome to see it however you may choose.

I agree that it's immature, but I think you and Dime are overstating the level of nastiness that was in this thread. Except for Chud, I don't think anyone said anything particularly mean about the guy.

I can think of better examples of threads that do give RM a bad name, like that guy who was putting together a Pearl Jam themed religious event and got laughed off, or even the Ed Art threads. This one seems comparatively benign to me.

Let's rank the threads that have given RM a bad name.
