Apparently Play was released 2 months before the festival. He must have been a hair away from being on a bigger stage.

My apologies, they got it right after all. Just ignore 2 Skinnier J's, Old Pike and the overwhelming amount of misses they trotted out. I bet Entwistle was huge on college radio that year too...
