I feel bad having to defend Lennon in spite of McCartney. I LOVE them both and feel blessed that we had them both. Picking sides feels wrong sometimes.

Neither of them would have made nearly the creative/productive output if not for the other one. They were two great songwriters, challenging one another on an everyday basis for a decade... and the fruits of their collective labor are very tasty.
