I agree with them self produce a record someday.

Two really interesting choices...

John Leckie:
-Radiohead: The Bends
-Muse: Showbizz
-My Morning Jacket: Z

Flood:
-PJ Harvey - Is This Desire
-The Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness
-Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - The Boatman's Call

But somehow I think 'Alain Johannes' could work really well. They respect each other, they have a long history together. And both 'bubblegum' and 'blues funeral' sound amazing!

I'm impressed how that 'new' Soundgarden track 'Storm' sounds. Jack Endino would be an interesting choice as a producer for PJ...

Jack White should ...

I'm a huge Jack White fan and I think that would be a bad idea. They need to produce themselves. Or go back with Tchad Blake.

Jack White wouldn't do everything for them like BOB does. Wouldn't work imo.

What do you mean by that?

Pearl jam would seem to ideally desire a producer who would enjoy having a band toss in half baked ideas that need 'fixin' and will allow them to be part of the show.

Kinda like when a referee takes over a sporting event with calls. Its not about you ref!!

They should go old school with Glyn Johns or Jimmy Iovine.

Anybody but BOB again.

Man, I hope they are in the mood to actually shake things up once again. While I like LIghtning Bolt, it is pretty standard issue PJ these days and I would really like them to grow a sac and toss out a real curveball. Go back to taking chances. Never too old for that.

Guys, if they hire a really cool, off the wall producer they're just gonna pussy out at the end and have Brendan O'Brien come in and ruin it.
