This ruined my computer's audio jack.

Yeah. I had to get the audio jack replaced. And a USB port that broke when I accidentally dropped my computer. Anyway, things are better now, and hopefully this provides Ruddo some closure.

So this happened to a laptop in our household. After a quick google search I found there is a tool made specifically for this problem. I ordered it off of Amazon and 2 days later it arrived and worked in seconds.

Don't use a stupid tool! You have to pour glue into your port.

Use a very powerful magnet.
Just kidding! Don't do that! My suggestion to use a magnet was really just a clever ruse to get you to destroy your own computer. But I am too kind-hearted to follow through on this ruse, so I exposed it immediately as a ruse. Don't use a magnet! It was a ruse and I am sorry!

Asher is mistaken, magnets make your computer run better. The more powerful the magnet the better the effect.

I doubled my hard disk space by putting a magnet against it.

Yeah it's like super defragging your drive, it more efficiently places the 1s and 0s so you can fit more data.
