I know it's not really her thing, but it seems crazy to me that for a song like this you wouldn't show up with a live band.

That's fine for video releases, but Grimes started out creating songs with a loop pedal from scratch, live. How the mighty have fallen.

Also, I love how much of a serial apologist you are, VG. It's endearing.

It's ultimately not a big deal, I still like the song a lot. But I wish there was even a little bit of that performance that didn't sound like she was just miming to the studio track.

I’ve been listening to WAP a whole bunch in the last few days. God it’s so good. “You’re not even alive if you’re not backed up on a drive” is one of the most chilling lyrics I’ve heard in a long time (made even moreso since I don’t think she’s being satirical).
