Vedder is expected to debut a new song on Letterman tonight. It has been described as a "thrashy no-nonesense 2 minute punk rocker."

Wow, didn't realize he's the final musical guest, even though there's two more shows to go.
I saw a few guesses out there...one of which being Long Road, which would be cool. Betcha there's an additional performance that's not televised. Maybe a rocker to end it, but think it will be a soft number for the televised spot.

yeah, that's what I thought, which is why some of those stories I read were a bit misleading.
