With the exception of Jackie Brown (and MAYBE Reservoir Dogs), let's not pretend Tarantino hasn't always made childish pulp films. This movie is more of the same from him. His work has never been meaningful.

I loved everything through Kill Bill. I've been disappointed since. Haven't seen the new one yet.

I watched Kill Bill vol.1 yesterday for the first time in forever and loved it. Sure, its ridiculously OTT but its a shitload of fun.
His movies are stylish and fun. Nothing more, nothing less.
I don't particularly love Reservoir Dogs or Death Proof, but the rest is ok.
Did someone say he's doing Kill Bill 3? How does that work if she already killed Bill??

Copperhead's kid and Elle would come after Beatrix.

True, but Pulp Fiction had at least some vulnerabilty in its characters, they seemed human. Now, its just all pure cool imaginary and talk. He lost that too.
Still, Hateful Eight is his best movie since Kill Bill.

I'm probably the one person on the planet that thinks Pulp Fiction is vastly overrated

I've really liked basically everything he's ever done.

Pulp Fiction is a movie that I enjoy talking about more than I enjoy watching.

That sounds nods about right. Some scenes are nicely done.

I enjoyed it more when I saw it recently.
I'd put it behind JB and IB. Maybe even RD.

Jackie Brown
Pulp Fiction
Kill Bill
Reservoir Dogs
Inglorious Basterds
Hateful Eight
Django Unchained
haven't seen Death Proof since Grindhouse in theatres, so I'm not sure where to rank it.

I have no idea what I meant to write before regarding nods.

1. Reservoir Dogs

3. Kill Bill 1
4. Inglorious Basterds
5. Kill Bill 2
Haven't seen
Jackie Brown
Django Unchained
Hateful Eight
Or I guess, Death Proof. Whatever that is.
