Re: "Big" Movies You've Never Seen

I've finally found my niche.
Agreed on Mick. That movie was huge and he's of the age where it was right in his wheelhouse.@SkitchP wrote:of all the movies in this thread, Jurassic Park for mick is the craziest. Many of the others were big before we were born, or were really young. If we didn't catch them then, that means a decision had to be made to go back and watch it...
but jurassic park has hit all the bases of unavoidable since it came out. Mega Blockbuster tentpole, cultural icon, multiple sequels, family friendly enough to be aired on a variety of different stations relatively unedited (even network)... to not have seen it is just crazy to me.
and for me?
All the Godfathers
Scarface
Unforgiven (in fact, i cant say ive seen a single Clint Eastwood film)

They seem like they'd probably be kind of fun to watch, I guess.LoathedVermin72 wrote:As someone who's never seen them, please write a brief summation of your feelings about the Indiana Jones series.

I just never ended up seeing it when it was big, and I haven't had any desire to seek it out in the years since.cutuphalfdead wrote:Agreed on Mick. I don't know if these are big, but my wife can't believe I haven't seen them. Maybe my age (39) makes it odd that these never crossed my path.
The Princess Bride
That movie where John Cusack holds up the boombox.
Sixteen Candles
That weird fantasy movie with David Bowie.
