I think those "web wings" look stupid. They looked stupid in the comics and they look worse on screen. But I'm still interested in this movie.

Well, in the comics, they weren't used as glider wings. Not on Spider-Man anyway. Spider-WOMAN used them for such, tho.

Honestly, I've never liked the idea of him being in the Avengers.

i thought he worked really well. but i think a lot of that has to do with bendis' writing ability.

the later 90s or maybe earlier he was part of the avengers for a 6 issue arc when they were in outter space.

peter has always been the lovable loser until recently when they did the superior spiderman and doc ock really improved peters life for the better

Scene 1: "Scarlett Witch is having sex with some guy named Chris she met last night"

I'm in charge of casting, btw.

Are you referring to costume? Characterization? Specifics, please.
No, just that every spiderman movie they've done so far has sucked.
Spider-Man 1 and 2 are great. Amazing Spider-Man 1 and 2 aren't as bad as everybody says, especially 2.

Yeah the new trailer is definitely solid! Didn't expect so much Iron Man/Downey Jr, but then again I haven't been paying close attention to this one. Keaton's role looks promising too

Another problem I have, and this isn't Spiderman's fault, is that I'm pretty sick of Tony Stark being everywhere in Marvel movies. I'm expecting him to show up on S.H.I.E.L.D. pretty soon.

Hmm, this could go either way based on that trailer. I'm hoping its heavier on Jon Watts than it is on Marvel Studios.
