a bit off topic but when I had my record store in the 90s these were the most bought and then returned for $3 or $4 that I can remember:

The Singles soundtrack has to be the most 90s soundtrack.
The first Third Eye Blind album was so fun. Really good power pop/rock songs. I saw them and Eve 6 in High School. It was a great show. Ice Cube was playing in Omaha the same night and 3EB played a snippet of It Was a Good Day.

i don't mind him too much, but the only artist who ushered in more shit than Pearl Jam has to be Garth Brooks. Country sucked after him. he destroyed an entire genre.
