So according to my research (someone please correct this if I'm missing something) the following songs have won a march madness tournament

Immortality
Insignificance
Tremor Christ
Corduroy
Black
In My Tree
Do the Evolution
I Got Shit

I believe I Got Shit was the first winner (and hasn't done particularly well in recent years). So the plan will be to run a tournament without the 7 most recent winners, and then once we have the winner of the current tournament we have the winners circle with the previous 7 winners plus the best performer from this year.

Please let me know if I'm missing a winner, and if I Got Shit was in fact the first winner.

Here is the current plan.

According to the stickied master song list there are 224 possible songs. I cut that list down to 199 (see below for songs not included).

Spoiler: show: Folk D, Ramblings I, Ramblings II, Ramblings III, The King, Untitled Stone Demo, anything in between, be like wind, Chinese, Daddy Could Swear..., evil little goat, I just wanna have something to do, it ain't like that, Jingle Bells, need to know, Olympic platinum, pry to, rock around barack, Turning Mist, Wishing Well, 2000 Mile Blues, Breeze in D, Lucky 13, Rearranged Furniture, Rearranged Priorities

The 7 most recent MM winners are taken out of the tournament.

Spoiler: show: Black, Corduroy, Immortality, Tremor Christ, In My Tree, Insignificance, Do the Evolution

Phase 1:
64 3 way matches (randomized, though there will be at least two official releases in each grouping).

Phase 2 (:
The 64 winners of the three way matches enter into a randomized tournament and play through until we get a winner

Phase 3
The winner of that 64 song tournament joins the 7 past winners to determine the 2016 grand champion.

Tournament will begin Feb 1
