durdencommatyler wrote:So, on Collider movie talk, before the trailer dropped, they were all saying how all of the previous Transformers trailers are super awesome but the movies suck, so they expected the same here. Then the trailer dropped and they all hated the trailer, thought it was stupid, and hope that means the movie will be good.

Thing is, I watched this trailer and thought, though the movie still looks dumb, the trailer was actually pretty strong. So, I went back and watched all the other first trailers for this franchise and everyone of those trailers is fucking terrible.

Point is, I don't know anything and I don't care and I haven't seen any of these films except the first and I'm fine with that. I will not be seeing this one either. Everything is dumb.

I'm probably a fool to have hope, but I really liked that trailer. Despite the godawful "Do You Realize??" cover (trailers need to STOP. DOING. THIS.).

Ok, so LV, or anyone else. Did you see the post-credit scene? If so;
Spoiler: show
This is the coolest opportunity for future storyline yet. Quintessa/Unicron could make for great movies and not be so "Transfomer-ey" if that makes sense.
But are they making any more? I thought they were advertising this as "The Final Chapter"?

I did not know there was a post-credit scene.

This is supposedly the last one, but Bay has said that before. However, this one seems to be performing below the other entries at the box office, so it may be true this time.

I've seen all of the Transformers movies in the theater, and I'd like to keep that streak going, but it probably won't happen. I just read a plot summary and it's just as amazingly insane as I expected.

I love this movie more and more the longer I sit with it. I can't stop thinking about it. It's making me revisit the previous entries, all of which I hated before.

They're already preparing to make the next abortion, but Bay isn't directing it.

If nothing else, China will keep them churning out more. These are basically movies for the Chinese at this point.

Travis Knight is directing the Bumblebee movie.

Why is there a Bumblebee movie? No one knows but Michael Bay.
