Pearl Jam just uploaded "Jeremy (uncensored version)" to YouTube. Any idea what was previously censored?

By watching this after a really long while, I just caught that the intro painting in DOTC (Mach III) reference this. Well, I think it does.

this band really was ahead of its time
not kidding
now in 2020 everyone is a flaming liberal and shares their feelings constantly and this concept is passé
1992 now that's a diff story

Pretty sure the uncensored part is the swearing and the gun in his mouth.
I wanna say the original cut of the video spent that second or two of footage not with the gun in his mouth, but of him pulling the gun out of his belt/pocket/pants and I want to say I distinctly remember thinking how heavy it looked for a kid to be raising a gun up.
Anyway something I never noticed before: 90210

Yea and i believe for years, because of the censored version, people were speculating as to whether he shot himself or shot up the students.
That video is so fucking good. Just watched it. What a song. Not a song to be taken for granted.

Aha that’s right.
Anyway further evidence that track 6 is the strongest in the catalog.

As mentioned, the gun in his mouth seems to be the major difference.
They also used BOB’s awful 2011 remix with the “spoke in” way too upfront in the mix.

I fucking love that video. And what a great song my god. I remember about this, Pellington talked about it...maybe in the spin 2000 article? Maybe in the pj20 book?
The kid that played Jeremy was super good.

I haven't listened/watched the "new" video to confirm which version is used, but BOB also remixed Jeremy for the single/video way back in 1992.
The earliest example of retrospective BOB'ing!

What are the differences between album version "Jeremy" and single version "Jeremy"? Aren't there more "whoaaa"s during that part? And maybe the bassline is more prominent near the end?

You can hear mccreadys guitar noodling in the verses much more. Him playing off the a chord.

I could be misremembering but I think the actual single version of "Jeremy" (the one on the CD single) fades out at about 4:50, omitting roughly the last 30 seconds of the song.

Aw man, I saw "uncensored" and thought I was finally going to get to see Jeremy bite the recess lady's breast
