You'll probably also want to make a list of Young-written Buffalo Springfield songs.

Here you go:

Flying on the Ground is Wrong (you'll want the Neil version, not the album version)
Burned
Out of My Mind
Nowadays Clancy Can't Even Sing (again, find the Neil vocal version)
Mr. Soul
Expecting to Fly
Broken Arrow
On the Way Home
I Am A Child

There are fewer CSNY songs that are "essential Neil," but they're worth a look.

The one Neil Young album I care about is On the Beach. Like with Bruce Springsteen, I tend to dislike his music, but I like a lot of stuff that he's influenced.

Every once in a while I'll boot it up. I've thought about getting the HD version, but I probably won't until I get a better PC. As for the avatar, I figured it was time for a change, and I usually like going for pixel art/video game-themed ones, so I thought "why not Spelunky?"

And to continue the thread:

Eric Chenaux
1. Love Don't Change
2. Worm and Gear
3. Have I Lost My Eyes
4. Arms, Legs and Moonlight
5. Mynah Bird
6. Sliabh Aughty
7. Dreaming of Stars
8. Poor Time
9. Amazing Backgrounds
10. Since We're Smokey

Colin Stetson (just solo stuff, no collaborations or bandleader work)
1. Part of Me Apart From You
2. Judges
3. Brute
4. Those Who Didn't Run
5. Clothed in the Skin of the Dead
6. The Righteous Wrath of an Honorable Man
7. Hunted
8. Red Horse (Judges II)
9. Time is Advancing With Fitful Irregularity
10. A Dream of Water

I think you get most of the Springfield stuff on various Neil solo releases. Just stick with solo NY for now, that'll keep you busy enough.

Yea, I don't know how you were able to pick ten favorites Radiohead songs either.
Wasn't as difficult as I anticipated, actually.

Oh, this is also in a non-specific order but thinking about it right now it's definitely a candidate for the top spot. The slow build to the cathartic "If I could just leave my body for the night"-moment is one of my favorite things they've done and everything afterwards is just pure joy. Fireworks is the second candidate when I think about my favorite AC song.
I seem to favor their poppier stuff with Avey on vocals when I look at my favorite songs.
