Definitely a big step up from the last episode

No joke. These last four (maybe even five) especially. One of the strongest runs I can remember in the entire series.

Controversial opinion alert:

Mad Men was just as good as GOT last night. :nice:

I think Mad Men is a much better show.

Mad Men is probably the best show I've ever seen. Game Of Thrones is also amazing. I'd say second only to Mad Men as far as shows currently running.

I may soon take the plunge and purchase the first series of this joint on Blu-Ray.

Yeah, I thought about it before I posted. But ultimately, I stand by what I said.

There are a few things I don't like about Breaking Bad, or at least there are in the first couple of seasons.

This last episode was one of my favorites in the entire series. Everyone's character choices were pitch perfect. Loved it.

Yeah, this season has been lights out. I'm beyond impressed. I never would have guessed the show would still be this strong. It's magical how they've managed to maintain this level of artistic achievement through six seasons.

It's going to be quite a treat to watch the whole series again after next season to see how the decade and characters changed. I love how the outside world is becoming so loud. Last season seemed foreboding and claustrophobic but they can't keep out the social/political/world noise anymore.

Hey, M_D, have you been following any of the theories and speculation floating around the interwebs? Specifically, those regarding Megan Draper?

A little. I'm not really buying it. It's probably a red herring. You can call me Alex by the way.

Very good, Alex. And you can call me Joe.

Yeah, I feel the same way. But I do think the choice to have her in that iconic Sharon Tate tshirt was really interesting; even if it was more of a political statement that a prophecy or foreshadowing.

I love the details on this show. Just outstanding. From art direction to costumes to props to scenic design to direction to writing. It's one of the best things I've ever seen.

The attention to detail is remarkable. They even make sure the weather is right for the particular day it is.
