Its definitely after JJ because Claire helped him in JJ and reminds him.
Yeah, she taked about the events in DD2 and getting fired from the hospital, so these are all taking place in order.

I've got 2 more episodes to go, but I'm really enjoying this. Once passed the first couple, it gets good. I'm going to have to rewatch JJ to compare.

maybe i am being corny but i dont view this as a superhero show as much as it is a guy who has every right not to but still tries to do what is best

Daredevil is really the only show so far that has really embraced the 'put on a costume and fight crime' superhero archetype

I've slugged through the eleventh episode, and I'm finally ready to say that this season is just downright terrible. It's the only time I agree with the idea that it should only be six or eight episodes. JJ and the DDs were fine for me at thirteen. But this just gets more repetitive and sloppy and boring. I was OK with this series after the first few, but now it's a chore.

I finished it up tonight. It's not as gripping as JJ or Daredevil, but still really good. Excellent use of villains and a strong supporting cast. Every person just shined

I had a dream last night that Monday's episode of The Canon podcast featured Devin Faraci talking about a movie to his dog. Co-host Amy Nicholson had apparently quit the podcast to avoid Devin Faraci.

Really enjoyed it, right to the end. It feels one and done to me, like, we won't see him solo again. Whereas with Jessica, I want more and her character has more depth. Good thing they've revived her comic book.
On to the Defenders!

I'm probably never going to get around to watching this. I still haven't had any desire to go back to DD S2. :|

honestly you're a lot more likely to enjoy this. It's far more JJ than DD. Better writing, stronger characters, excellent music, less fantastical story. Much weaker action, though

This could have been a really strong 5/6 episode series. Half of it is such a chore.

He was at his most irritatingly pedantic with race and gender stuff, which is interesting given this. At least I still have Armond White.
