The weird thing is he's Canadian. Like, who cares this much about vapid mainstream US political commentary?

I've never seen this show, but I remember her being stunningly unfunny on the Daily Show. I never understood her appeal.

Maybe we should get John Oliver to read statements by Sam Bee and AOC so you can post videos without triggering Bammer and Burt.

Why do you always assume the worst interpretation of people's words, B?

Is it so hard for you to imagine that some people just don't enjoy Samantha Bee because they don't find her funny and not because they hate women?

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

To be fair, i don’t think any of the current political comedy shows are funny. Her, Chelsea, Trevor, etc.

No, but I assume the worst interpretation of Burt, verb, and Dev's words. ... and sometimes Bammer.

Ironically the two things you need to do sound completely opposite:

Get a grip

Loosen up

Yeah I agree with this. And I don’t actually watch Samantha Bee. But from the bits I’ve seen, I find her much funnier than the rest.
We need to get Jay Leno back

I still watch Seth Meyers' A Closer Look regularly, but it hasn't been funny for a long time. Even John Oliver's laugh out loud moments have gotten few and far between.
