That's kind of the point of this thread. It's too late now. It was an important movie when you were at an impressionable age and everyone around you was watching it and quoting it. Older people didn't quite get it, and future generations won't understand the hype. But it will always have a special place in your heart, because it was there for you and your friends at just the right moment.

I was born in 1980. Most of my friends were born probably 1978 - 1982. If they were millennials, we wouldn't be friends.

To say the millennial generation starts in 1980 is BS.

I'd say it is closer to '82-'85. The beginning and end of each generation is always a little gray.
