Trag, have you played Meeting in the Aisle and These Are My Twisted Words back to back yet? Never noticed how similar the structure of those two are to each other. Haven't looked at any details about the Twisted Words session, but it almost sounds like they were playing around with some old MITA ideas in the studio before morphing it into this monster of a track.
Worth noting that both tracks made semi-frequent appearances on the TKOL tour.

my friend and I always argue that Meeting In The Aisle might be the most important song in their catalogue. It's a defining step towards a different style, mood, and a catalyst to the massive pivot they made after OKC.

With the possible exception of "Identikit," I like "Spectre" and "Ill Wind" better than anything on AMSP.

I'd put Ful Stop and Present Tense in that conversation too, but that's just me.

Decks Dark and Present Tense were my early favourites and probably still are.

There's a little Trojan Records echo-y reverb moment with the amps in the the outro of Decks Dark that I really, really like.

This disc contains the only 'not technically officially released' track in the set - 'Follow Me Around' live at the BBC in 2003. This is sourced from an unknown pre-FM promo (probably a 'for broadcast' disc directly from the BBC), and as it is in consistent quality with the rest of the BBC tracks and has not been released in any form anywhere else, I think it was a no-brainer to include it
