I'd be fine with an EP of 4-6 songs that they truly all sat down and worked on. Maybe even self-produced. Don't make Ed as prominent in the mix.

absolutely. he doesn't and can't shine like he used to. they need to pull him back into the mix (e.g. Riot Act) and let the instruments shine through. but to do that, they need more interesting songs.

A Riot Act approach would do wonders. I liked the post earlier about better 2 to 3 guitar interplay. That was a real highlight for the Binaural-S/T stretch.

Been awful since. I have had no desire to learn any of the songs on guitar. They used to be such an awesome duo.
