And even with those new posters with 0 posts, we still don't know how much effect they have had on the results. Are they all second accounts or are some of them legitimate accounts made by people who saw the front page or stip's synergy posts? And if some of them are second votes, are they all voting for the same songs, or are some votes canceling each other out?

I think the Force of Nature 2nd account votes was just someone's idea of a cruel, unfunny joke. It never really had a chance of changing the outcome.

Sleight of Hand and Alive was also the only nail biter last round. I can only speak for myself, but I don't always vote in every round, and I'm much more likely to vote if it could actually make the difference. I'm not saying that's what happened, but it could account for more votes in the close matchups.

as no matches are remotely close, and since it's a convenient time, I am closing this round slightly early

Only songs that LV would publicly admit to enjoying.

Only songs that have been covered by Ider Down.

Only songs that are about bodies of water.

Only songs that are in 3/4 timing.

Only songs that contain the word "fucking."

These are all amazing ideas. I don't know how we're going to choose just one.

Next year the winners tournament should be run first and then the winner of that tournament should have to weather the storm of the other 160 songs or whatever.

That, or we do an actual double-elimination tournament.

Just to give Ruddo a stroke we should all rank the PJ catalogue and then battle it out for Best Ranker.
