new mixes/masters are intriguing

intriguing, yes, but i'm not hopeful they'll be improvements based on what o'brien did to ten. i guess we'll see.

there also is a presale up for 'og ten' vinyl. so that looks like it will be a new pressing of the 2009 parashar version.

so i ASSume the box will have

ten - new press of 2009 parashar remaster
vs/vitalogy - 2011 remasters
no code/yield - 2016 remasters
binaural/riot act/avocado - 2017 o'brien remix/remasters
backspacer - new press
lightning bolt - new press or existing 2013 stock?

Interesting. Binaural and Riot Act now just says remastered while S/T says remixed and remastered by BOB

because its almost 2018 and there is no new album on the horizon and seeing "2013" is depressing

Yeah i get that. Im ok with them takign 4 or 5 years between albums now....i get it. I still enjoy their boots, their live albums and other stuff. But hell yeah, its hard to think we are not getting a new record until maybe next year.

His remix of Ten sounded pretty bad, so probably not.

Yeah, absolutely. After all, Riot Act was recorded by the same guy and in the same studio as S/T and the end result sounds totally different because Brendan mixed it.
