What happened?
Nothing much, went to college, made new friends (sorry), got a job, lost a job, got another job etc etc

Has anyone else found being less into music as you get older?
Chris Cornell's death made me think about this place again. Currently listening to King Animal on repeat.
Not because it's my favorite, only cos I didn't really listen to it when it came out cept for a few times.
Kinda nervous about posting as some of the people on here are very sharp and
make me feel like the dumb kid in class so please be gentle
(I have already lubed myself before anyone tries that one!)
btw, the archive section is awesome but also kinda makes me a little sad.
it's like stepping back in time when we were all younger and makes me feel old and a little depressed.
does anyone remember the rm user who posted noodz?
i remember coming late to the party on that one and always felt like I missed out.
always thought she was hot on the couple of pics i saw.
also does anyone know how to add a picture next to my username?
and what the post rank is? i don't like seeing 'spambot' next to my name and want to get rid of it asap!

also, its not so much about losing interest in music, its more about losing the energy to actively seek out new music. when some people here recommend new music to me and i like it, im all over it. But im like 2 decades removed from knowing where to find decent new music these days.
I think wease still buys music at FYE

technically, i NEVER would have bought music at fye. I was a tower records and newberry comics music buyer.

She had a really cool emo/goth look that was similar to a girl i knew so found her really hot. does anyone have any pics they could share?

yeah, i think you're right about losing energy. i am definitely more impatient and not as willing to give new music a chance but i honestly have struggled to find anything that makes me feel as happy and pumped as my favorites.
it's also a hell of a lot easier to skip a track using your phone or ipod then it was when listening to a cd so i guess i only listen to a couple of songs and don't give it as much respect.
got anything you can recommend?

that girl was slutty, but geggy liked her. Also, im pretty sure she got caught telling all kinds of lies at some point and never posted again

Sorry didn't mean to weird out the place, probably a little tmi, lol
didn't know about the lies or much tbh. I only came on here once she was gone but remember reading a few posts about it. didn't see any pictures cept the profile ones. I know it was a long time ago so doubt anyone still has any pics but thought I would see if anyone did.
