Why is that weird? Here in the states we have a lot of commercials, especially local ones, that feature people talking in unison. It is annoying. Like a chiropractor's office all reading from the same cue card to "visit Smith Chiropractic today". And it generally seems so sterile and sad.
I dunno, I think "people talking in unison" is a random-ass thing to hate.
He's right about Smith Chiropractic though. Charlatans all of them.

I was forced to attend church/Sunday school as a kid. Many of the activities involved reciting scripture in front of the adults as a group. It probably all stems from that.

What about all the kids in a classroom saying "good afternoon mrs farah" in that sing-songy way they do?

I wonder if Jorge would have had a problem with it had it come up in that thread?

I think Tighter and Tighter is a very Pearl Jam-esque song. It's built on a lower register vocal, heart on sleeve lyrics, it's a slow build, big guitar solo and climax, soaring ending.

They never would and it is not a SG song, but I would love to hear them cover Dandelion.

But yes, I hate choirs. And yes, I hate when EV lets the crowd sing Betterman. It is the worst.

We need a thread for all these tribute videos. I haven't had time to watch them, and I know I'm going to miss some that are in threads with a gagillion posts.
