Hmmm...Touchdown + 1 point PAT + safety, and touchdown + missed PAT?
Yup. At one point the score was 2-0.
Sure you weren't drunk at a Cardinals game?
A Cards game would have had too many obnoxiously entitled fans. I would have remembered that.

Can we talk about how wild this play was?

Two Saturdays w/o my Tigers playing :(

Last week was a stupid Thursday game, this week is a bye. Crazy that 1/4 of the season is already passed by.

Clemson was lucky to get out of Louisville with a win. Louisville is better than their 0-3 records says they are. Clemson's O, and the refs, seemed to try and do all they could to help the Cardinals win. Score should have been more around 31-10 or so. Louisville will give every team fits this year, but be more like a 7-5 type of team.

Yeah, Thursday night games are so weird. Mizzou has one in November. Thursday night NFL games are usually horrendous.

Why on earth did the ACC put Clemson's bye after a Thursday game? It should have been before it.

The Conspiracy theory is that John Swofford, a Tarheel and the ACC Commish, hates Clemson.

They're terrible. The NFL cares about player safety so they won't let them wear a throwback helmet, but it's ok to play Thursday ball after playing on Sunday?

Thursday Night Football should be for the JV High School team only.

I know they get really good ratings but they are sloppy, terribly played games. Wasn't it the Ravens a few years ago who played a Monday, Sunday, and then a Thursday night game?

Oh man, I think so! That should never happen.

Time to tell this to BSU after 3 quarters:

Jeez, how many more late game meltdowns can Tennessee and Texas concoct?

GameDay being in Tucson is just weird.

Game Day is coming to Clemson for this Saturday's match up between the Golden Domers and the Tigers. 8pm Primetime game, national tv with Game Day there; Death Valley will be rocking.

I'll be rooting for Clemson to destroy ND. I could see it considering ND barely beat Virginia, who just got obliterated by BSU.

I can see the other way too... A kickoff / punt return, a key interception / fumble recovery, and the momentum can swing quickly. Hopefully Clemson's D continues to set the tone, allowing the Offense a lot of time on the field.

My big concern is Clemson's Special Teams, and the O-Line. The O-Line has been pretty good with run blocking, but not so much with pass blocking. The QB doesn't have a lot of time to let play's develop, so there is a lot of timing issues. This in turn makes the team focus on dinky dunk passes and a run game. The deep threat needs to happen. That will open up a play like this:

Well, looks like the experts from the national media are chalking up a win for the golden domers. Some even same ND will "dominate". Of course some said the same thing when Clemson played LSU, Ohio State, and Oklahoma, and the Tigers won all those games. Love being the underdog.

Ouch Miami, not good for the perception of the ACC.

I guarantee this group of ND kids has not played in an environment like Death Valley during a big game. It will be crazier there than when they play at USC

I didn't watch the game, but is losing at Cincinnati really that embarrassing?

Oh, not at all. I really wouldn't mind Cincinnati joining the ACC. Add WVA too. It would make for a nice VT/Pitt/Cincy/WVA/somtimes ND regional rivalry. Also, they also seem to kinda care about football, and would add another excellent bball program to the club.

I guess I was thinking more along the lines that Miami was 3-0, and supposed to be kind of sort of somewhat "back" this year. That, and the ACC in general has not done much to help it's image so far this season.
