I'm sending ST the data at the end of this. I can send it to you, too, if you want to play around and find cool stuff in there. But my project was to determine the RM Top 100 Artists. I was able to generate a list of 87 that represent what RM likes best. The three list criteria is what works for that goal, anything less doesn't do that.

Consider that the one Some Dude you're disenfranchising feels strongly enough about that random band to name it #1. So if Some Dude lists Aroma of Man as his all-time favorite artist, while three people list Florence and the Machine as their 20th favorite artist, I would say there is at least as much love on RM for Aroma of Man as there is for Florence. Even if it's all coming from the one Some Dude. We're a small community after all

Think of it this way: if there was not three list minimum, Sam the Astronaut would almost certainly be in the RM Top 100. And that makes sense, considering there's more posts about Sam the Astronaut on this board than there are about Bjork.

It would be a longer, more fun, more idiosyncratic list, and avoid the Boomery "Rolling Stone greatest artists countdown article" feel of the last time we did this in 2006. Anyway, this is fine, just keep doing it the way you're doing it. I like the posting in batches and the writeups.

I don't like the write-ups.

Okay well they're short so they're easy to skip

I would prefer if they were either significantly longer and harder to read, or written in text so small you can barely read it.

The write-ups are from allmusic.com, I also like that they are short. The pictures are from umdmusic.com. They are pretty uniformly terrible and low-quality but also of a reasonable size and easy to pull so I'm sticking with it

I actually prefer Jorge and Mickey coming after me to lenny and kt defending me. The niceness and support makes me more uncomfortable than the conflict and the challenges. I think I have issues
