Yes for fuck's sake let's get some big first party titles. Looking forward to hearing more about Ghost of Yotei.....and really hoping all these rumors about Resident Evil 9 are true about returning to third person (and return of Leon Kennedy). Been playing RE4 remake lately and having a blast (forgot how good it was)

These Playstation events just keep getting worse. Disappointing showcase IMO. Even the stuff I wanted to see (Ghost, MGS3) had a pretty limited showing. Aside from the Astrobot add-on's, a pretty dismal showcase.

True, but they do have Death Stranding 2 this month. The previews make it sound incredible.

Yeah I forgot to mention that one--I do plan to purchase though I had trouble getting into the first one. The previews do look solid though and I'm desperate for new AAA third person that's actually good

Went ahead and ordered a 1TB storage upgrade on sale for prime day. Looking forward to not having to delete/reinstall so much

My man!

I've played a few games of the new CFB. My favorite's team mascot is now in it, so it's worth the price.

Wow! Those rumored PS6 specs are on par with current top-of-the-line gaming PCs - similar to NVIDIA RTX 4090, AMD Zen 5, 8K output. Potentially twice as powerful as a PS5 Pro. This sucker's going to cost $1,000+ easily. 2027 / 2028.

I think 2027 is optimistic and will be a hard sell for the average consumer. But it's Sony and they like money.

A PS3 cost $600 in 2006. The biggest difference now is they don't really have a competitor. They can get silly with the next one. Personally, I'd guess late 2028.

I'm guessing late 2028 with a $700 price tag (no disc drive).

I’ve always imagined that I’d get the next PS after having an Xbox for the current generation, since I’ve got such a huge backlog of games from Ps+ (right now it’s mostly my kids that play the PS4). But now I’m not so sure, might just get a PS5 in a few years if the price drops.

State of Play tomorrow.

Hopefully, we see Wolverine and the God of War spin-off.

I think Wolverine is all but confirmed. I wonder how much they will actually reveal before the Game Awards.
